COUNT ME IN

Count Me In, Inc. is a non-profit organization conceived by two high school students that grew from an idea to a city wide endeavor.

Each year Count Me In donates thousands of gifts to hundreds of children and adults during the Hanukkah season. The goal of our organization is to help Jewish families celebrate Hanukkah by providing them with donations of gifts and other ritual items. Our recipient base includes families experiencing temporary financial difficulties, families of patients undergoing medical treatment, as well as senior citizens residing in assisted living facilities. We are constantly expanding and reaching out to more stretches of the Jewish community, and assistance in this process is greatly appreciated. In addition, Count Me In is in partnership with Lonestar Region BBYO to encourage teen community service and involvement in the Jewish community.

How to Get Involved

The #1 way to give to Count Me In and the community is to pick up a bag and fill it with gifts, but here are other ways to help:

For children and teens:

• Ask for Count Me In gifts instead of birthday presents
• Include Count Me In as part of your Bar/Bar Mitzvah project
• Donate a percentage of the monetary gifts you receive from your Bar/Bat Mitzvah to Count Me In
• Help sort gift bags and wrap gifts going to hospital patients

For adults:

• Make a tax-deductable donation
• Ask your employer to donate to Count Me In at the holiday season
• Help sort gift bags and wrap gifts going to hospital patients

COUNT ME IN

Contributions are welcome at any time during the year but are especially appreciated if received during the months prior to Hanukkah. Count Me In, Inc. is a Texas non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that functions on a completely volunteer basis, and we gladly accept tax-deductible donations. 100% of donated funds are spent for program expenses and purchases of gifts for recipients.
